DISTRICT ONE CANDIDATES PARTICIPATING IN FORUM
Jon Heaton (I)

My name is Jon Heaton. I'm running for Supervisor in District one, Hancock County, Ms.
I 'm an Independent. Most people know what Republicans and Democrats are. They are expected to act in certain ways and quite often don't always get along with each other.
Libertarians are good. They stand for Liberty, not Liberalism but most people don't know that and just the name sounds kind of radical.
As an independent I will be free to work for the people who hire (elect) me, and not for those who put undue restrictions on you, the people of Hancock county.
Even the term "supervisor" sounds threatening. It sounds like you're electing someone to tell you what to do.
If I'm elected I'll be your employee. You tell me what you want me to do. I'll be working for you.
Very Sincerely,
Jon Heaton
